Hi,
A few photos from the Auckland Quilt Festival.
A lovely quilt that caught my eye…
And this one from Tula Pink’s 100 quilt blocks. One I have on my to do list.
This was another gorgeous quilt that won lots of ribbons.
Love this quilt and all the fabrics. Margaret’s Gypsy Wife quilt and close ups of the quilting done by Rebecca, Margaret’s daughter. Wishing someone in my family was a long arm quilter!!
and…..I’ve been enjoying
myself playing with paper piecing and chopping up fabrics and enjoying the sunshine !
Until next time,
Linda:)

Love those blocks Linda. What are you making?
I too enjoyed the show this year, lots of variety & creativity! Loved the bright GW version! Your EPP is looking very colourful & pretty! I hadn't realised how much fun it was until I did some last weekend, very addictive!
The show was great wasn't it – I loved the variety of quilts that were there, spent ages looking at them all. Love those little rosettes you are making.
Love that Gypsy wife – sp much colour!! Have fun with your EPP.
It looks as if there were some lovely quilts at the Auckland Quilt Festival. Your paper piecing fabrics are lovely and bright, I recognise quite a few Kaffe Fassett fabrics in there.
