Hi,
Finally finished the cushion i was making. It’s REALLY big. I made it without thinking what the finished size would be which ended up about 24″ by 15″. Usually i would make a cushion insert from calico and fill it with feathers but i found in Bed Bath & Beyond a pillow insert with a gusset. It fitted exactly so i was chuffed with that find.
There’s a little brass door knocker as promised to Grehta on the middle house!
Next up will be a companion cushion in different colours. Smaller…definitely smaller and different but with houses on a grey background…

Big but BEAUTIFUL!
Hi Linda, I found your blog through reading Ali Honey's blog The Quilting Orchardist. Love the cushion it's beautiful, love the bright colours. We're from the UK too, been here in NZ for 11 yrs in April, we're settled just out of Hamilton on a Lifestyle block and loving it. Looking forward to seeing more of your makes. After scrolling through some older posts I realise that I have that Zakka Style book! I'm off to fish it out and get some inspiration. best wishes Sue
This is lovely Linda. I have seen it in reality and its just gorgeous!
This is so bright and cheerful. Love your next fabric pull too.
Gorgeous! I love all the little bits of detail – on the centers of your flowers and the little knots on the tops of the leaves, so pretty! Linda
