All Sorts

Finally managed to finish those gloves for a present……can’t believe a month has passed and sat scratching my head wondering where it went! Hope the winter goes as fast.

Woke up one morning thinking i could do with a table top ironing board and while i was out with a friend that day i found a new one in a second hand shop for 5 dollars. Just needed padding a bit. It’s been really handy because although you can’t see it i have a quilt on the floor and not much room to move. I’m expanding at a great rate…as long as it’s not my middle i can live with it!

Lastly i managed to get the companion cushion done to go with the very large one. This one is 14″ by 10″ with a gusset. Half a circle….or maybe tea cozy shape…ish. Enjoyed making it though as it has a bit of all sorts going on.

Hoping we get some sunshine this week!
Until next time,
Linda 🙂

  1. What a fortuitous find. Need those gloves in this weather. I have printed off my pattern and then come to a grinding halt. Keep dry.

  2. Well done on finding a board the same day that you had the idea!! Normally it takes months to find something 🙂 Your gloves look lovely and snuggly and I love your half-round cushion..I don't think I've seen one that shape before!
